Charles II period dated Oak Cupboard Chest

A rare Charles II period oak cushion moulded front Cupboard Chest Cabinet with beautiful mother of pearl and bone inlays. It has one top drawer set below a dentil moulding with half balusters set below the cleated oak top. The top drawer is divided into two flat sections each with elaborate ebony and mother of pearl inlays.

The lower interior section has three long oak drawers with steel loop handles. It is enclosed by two very elaborate raised cushion moulded doors with central sections decorated with mother of pearl and ebony. There are three pairs of fruitwood bobbin turned pilasters to add to the architectural feel of the piece.

It stands on turned bun feet at the front and extended stiles at the back.
The bottom section of decoration is dated 1673 on both sides.
