A fine English country made gothic Windsor chair in yew wood and elm of exceptional colour and patination. The yew wood hoop back has three fretted gothic splats to the back and a further gothic splat to each side. The bowed arms are supported with turned uprights.

The beautifully figured and patinated seat has been adzed into a dish shape from one piece of elm. The four legs are turned in beech and joined by a yew wood crinoline stretcher.
