A good early Victorian period convex painted dial wall clock, the 8 day fusee movement with original anchor escapement and shaped plates. The dial retains its original white painted decoration, Roman numerals and delicate spade shaped steel hands.

* Hughes is listed on page 162 of Baillie’s ‘Clockmakers of the World’ as working in London in the middle of the 19th century.
