A charming George I period painted bow front corner cupboard with original shaped double shelf interior and original external shelf.

The bow shaped door has a charming naïve painted scene of two female figures in classical costume standing in front of a colonnade building in a rustic setting. Below there is a seated cherub delighting in a bowl of fruit next to a passing stream. To each side there are painted gilded garlands of foliage set against the black ground colour.
